ARDENTE (Ardent) The ACTA play is about Inês and Pedro, about the love and death of the two protagonists, who lived in the north of the Iberian Peninsula more than 650 years ago. The drama begins on 13th January in the year 1355, when the Spanish noblewoman Inês de Castro was executed on the orders of the Portuguese king Afonso IV. She was the lover of Crown Prince Pedro I… Price of tickets: € 20 each |

The theatre bus travels per year (since 2005) to around 300 different events in the Algarve (schools) and visit an average of at least 8.000 young people plus their teachers and parents. |

In November, Rotary and ACTA want to put three theatre productions on the major stages: one in Portimão, two in Faro. With the money that is raised from ticket sales, half of the repair costs of the Theatre Bus could be paid. And the other half should come from sales of advertising space on the Theatre Bus. |
